Waldorf Playing Fields in Hyde were donated to the community for their recreation, and Tameside Council have no right to sell them.

In the mean-time, please be vigilant; anyone could re-submit planning or change of use requests whilst our backs are turned!

Waldorf Playing Fields are situated behind the Rising Moon Pub on Matley Lane. The main access is via Early Bank Road; if heading West down Matley Lane, turn right immediately after the pub car-park, then right into the first field.
